This is a verbatim crosspost from the POAP website – we have both up for now.
So, as most of you know, we will NOT be opening in the Global Forum space (unless something crazy happens, like the landlord deciding to treat us well and help us succeed). That said, this dream is not dead, it’s just paused for a bit.
We have found a way forward with an investor, we just need to find a new spot with good rent and location. SO, newrds, keep your eyes peeled in this area: no more than 2 mi outside (N) 285, no further East than Chamblee Tucker, no further South than Brookhaven, no further West than Peachtree Industrial (but we might go as far W as Savoy/Perimeter Mall). Roughly this area:

If you live in this area or drive around there much, PLEASE keep your eyes peeled for about 3000-4000sqft RESTAURANT space. However, being straight retail is not a deal breaker, there are landlords who’ll pay to build out a space. Just not the one we’ve got right now.
We’ve lost a LOT of money, but in exchange for that, we’ve met someone who will truly help us get started, once we find the right spot.
In the interim, we are looking for jobs to get our finances stabilized and start paying off this massive credit card debt.
We are doing alright, all things considered. It’s a relief to get confirmation that we are NOT crazy, we were, indeed, getting massively screwed. Our investor is a lovely person who has LOTS of projects to his credit. He has the leverage to get deals that we do not.
So, please keep following us here, FB, IG and Twitter. We’ll likely run another small kickstarter when we get going again, just to offer the swag that so many of you wanted.

**ALSO: Nick’s fingers are healed up nicely and he’s rehabbing by drawing and strength exercises. Aside from the ring finger tendon, they look like they’ll be fully recovered in a few months.
